Marketing and Promotion

Using a combination of direct mail, emails, trade and business press for advertisements and inserts, relevant websites, partners and relevant associations and a PR campaign we will bring in very high quality delegates and visitors – giving your organisation the best possible exposure to the right people.

 

We will be in a position to promote the event through a number of unique channels including:

 

BPUG partners’ lists - Due to the high calibre of the BPUG partners we have access to lists that no other event organisers will have.  We will be in a position to promote the event directly to customers and clients of OGC, TSO and APMG (the accreditation board for the PRINCE2, MSP and M_o_R exams).  In other words anyone who has, or is about to, take these exams.

 

BPUG members - In addition to these lists we will also be promoting the event directly to BPUG members. The Best Practice User Group has a membership of almost 150 organisations both public and private sector.  Members typically come from project and programme management roles. 

 

International user group members -There are four user groups across Europe in Holland, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.  These user groups will also promote the event directly to their members on our behalf.

 

External lists - In addition to the extensive promotion described above the event will also be promoted to non-members and the wider programme and project management community via external lists of relevant individuals.

 

Trade publications - We already have an agreement in place with Project Manager Today (the leading project management publication) who will promote the event to their readers between now and February 2009.  Additional agreements will be put in place with further relevant publications.

 

PR There will also be a complementary PR campaign to promote the activities of speakers, exhibitors and sponsors.

 

Sponsors and exhibitors will be given ample opportunity to show their support for the event with specially designed banners and buttons for their websites, a series of ready to send emails and direct mail pieces to send to clients and prospects.
