Why Should You Attend?

By combing a top level conference, a focused exhibition and countless networking opportunities it’s the ideal opportunity to get to grips with the latest thinking in project, programme and risk management.

Take part and you’ll hear how projects large and small, from both the private and public sector, from the relatively straight forward to the incredibly complex have been managed successfully. In just a couple of days out of the office you’re likely to pick up a plethora of practical tips that you can take away and implement immediately…

  • Experienced speakers will be frank about the problems they faced and how these were overcome (or, in some cases, not overcome). Amongst other things they’ll demonstrate the tools and techniques they used, they’ll talk about the systems they put in place and show how they ensured “buy-in” throughout their organisation.
  • There’ll be a number of consultants, software and training companies on hand to show how they can help you better manage your projects. Many will be demonstrating their solutions and offering the opportunity to road test some exciting new technology products. It’s a great opportunity to draw up a short list of possible suppliers in just a few hours.
  • But it’s not all about the experts and success stories, which, let’s be honest, can sometimes appear as distant dreams. A series of roundtables and plenty of networking opportunities mean that you’ll be able to share and discuss your experience with your peers. You’ll be able to pick the brains of those in similar situations and find out what worked for them. Or what didn’t. And, if things are going wrong on your projects, there’ll be specialists on hand to show you how to get back on track.

So, whether you’re a Project Manager, Programme Manager, or Risk Manager with many years experience or someone from another discipline who’s been asked to run a new project there’s something for you at this event.
